April 23, 2020 / by Vanesa Listek / 3D Printing / Bioprinting

We present one of our successful projects of april: an artificial respiratory tract epithelium manufactured by our private label 3D bioprinter, U-FAB. Our model could serve as a solution to the ongoing SARS-Cov-2 pandemic as an alternative in vitro testing bed; we already received contact from Harvard’s school of medicine. We hope to make more advances to provide significant breakthroughs not only for the ongoing pandemic, but also for R&D regarding all existing viruses as a whole.
